The highlight of the news was not Covid19 but the stepping down of old Guards. Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Former Worker's Party chief Low Thia Khiang will not run GE2020.

5) People Above 13 who have an acute respiratory infection to be tested for Covid19 from July 1

Currently, only those above 45 and students above 13 need to be tested.


6) Singapore residents can each get 2 free reusable masks from Monday

These can be collected from Monday 10am to July 12, 11.59pm from any of some 1,200 vending machines at bus interchanges, community centres/clubs and residents' committee centres.
