Crash Landing on You

Daily Dose: Crash Landing on You

For those who follow with K-drama, the title would be family. However, the phrase took on a whole different meaning when a ventilation duct collapses during the movie at Shaw Theatres Nex injuring 2 people in the process.

1) 54 new covid19 cases

  • 39  dorms ( 22 quarantine, 17 surveillance)
  • 8 community
  • 7 imported cases ( 5 SC/PR, 1 WP, 1 DPH)

The dorms cases were a mix of those quarantine and those detected through surveillance. Despite dorms being cleared a few weeks back, the surveillance cases indicate that there may be several cases that are not detected. This also means the risk to the community is higher as they assimilate back to the community.

It is no surprise to see community cases rise. Of the community cases, 6 were placed in quarantine and 2 from proactive surveillance. 7 cases were linked

Imported cases are from India and the Philippines.  India now holds the record for a single day confirmed cases, overtaking USA
