 Daily Dose: Just another day

No 'spectacular news today. It's just another day of the week with Covid19 and other Singapore news. The interesting news would be out of Singapore.

Malaysia has banned long term passes including PR from Indian, Philippines and Indonesia due to the spike in COVID numbers from those countries. Interestingly, these are the same countries that usually show up on imported cases for Singapore.

1) 40 new Covid19 cases

  • 32 Dorms (22 Quarantine, 10 Surveillance)
  • 1 Community   ( WOrk Pass)
  • 7 imported cases (3 SC/PR, 2 WP, 1 DP, 1 STVP)

Surveillance cases continue to be detected from dorms. This signals a possible wider spread in dorms than initially checked.

1 Case in the community is a worker from construction, marine and process outside of the dorm.

7 imported cases are from India, Bangladesh and Brazil.
