Spore is well known for a lot of first. Yesterday, we became the first country in the world to approved cultured chicken for consumption.

Cultured chicken unlike regular chicken is just meat grown from cells. You would not get to get chicken feet or drumstick but you could make nuggets out of it. The question is .... would you eat it?

Cases are from India and Indonesia. No local case which is heartening to know.

For the record, there are currently 28 cases still in the hospital.

4) Indonesia tested positive for Covid19 was arrested for suspected involvement in helping 4 men enter Singapore illegally

He is a special pass holder. He had entered Singapore legally. The question is why was he granted special pass since his occupation is dubious

5) Spore becomes the first country to approve the sale of lab-grown chicken

Lab Grown chicken, cultured chicken, what's that?

They are NOT real chicken but mean grown from cells. You probably cannot have drumsticks or chicken wings but more like nuggets.

6) The Animal Resort to Closed on 10 Jan 2021

Since we are on the topic of chicken, Singapore's only animal farm will close on 10 Jan 2021 due to lease and cost issue. We will miss this rural spot in urban Singapore.
