President Hotel Seoul Review : Biggest Quadruple Room For Families
Looking for a hotel in Seoul for a family of 4?
If you ever searched for a hotel to sleep 4 pax in Seoul, you would probably get a mixed bag of hotels.
There will be a combination of 2 separate rooms, a room with 3 beds and if you are lucky enough a 2 bedroom hotel. The latter would usually be smaller at about 200-300 sqft and comes only with 2 double beds. The double beds are usually 137 x 191 cm smaller than a typical queen-size bed at 152 x 190cm. This can be a tight squeeze if you sleep with 4 full-size adults/teens.
Hotel President Quadruple Room is a whopping 685 sq feet with not 2 but 3 beds consisting of 1 extra large double bed and 2 double beds. If space and affordability is what you are looking for, you have to check this out.
Hotel President
Hotel President |
For our recent trip to Seoul, we found a room with 2 Single Size beds and 1 large double bed (similar to king size) at Hotel President. Hotel President is right in front of Seoul Plaza, next to Lotte Hotel.
Close to everything |
The hotel is within walking distance of 2 subways, City Hall and Euljiro 1, and about 7 minute's walk to the Myeongdong shopping district. The hotel is in a good location with a convenience store next to the hotel, eateries around the corner and major Seoul attractions within walking distance.

Check-in
Check in Counter |
We arrived early in the morning. Check-in time was at 3pm. However, we could leave our bags at the concierge before check-in.
Hotel President Lobby |
There is a waiting area and a cafe should you wish to wait. The cafe prices are a tad pricey, so it may be better to head out to the nearby coffee shop for a drink instead.
The Room
Our room was a quadruple room and was meant to accommodate 4 adults. The room size is about 678 feet², and it is probably the largest 2-bedroom hotel you can find in Seoul.
Quad Room Hotel President |
The room is interesting. It technically has 2 rooms.
Living and Large Double Bed |
Upon entrance, you will have a large room with a large double-size bed, a sitting area with couches, a coffee table, and a flat-screen tv. This is useful and provides a space to eat and interact with the family.
Half Toilet |
There is a half toilet in this room.
Mini Fridge |
There is also a coffee/tea counter that comes with a fridge.
Bedroom |
The other room is only accessible through the main room. It comes with 2 comfortable size super single beds.
Writing table |
There is also a work table and chairs on the other end with a separate flat-screen tv.
Dresser |
The room has an attached bath and a make-up area.
View from the room |
You get a city view with the street heading up to Myeongdong and Isadong as your view.
Landmark View |
On the side, you can also see the N Seoul Tower.
Daily Room Service |
There was daily room service to clear up the room. We find the room spacious and very comfortable during our stay. It felt very homely to return to a hotel where everyone has personal space. This is great, especially if you are travelling with teens.
During winter, the hotel offers a cooling/heating system. Depending on your need, you can opt for a warm or cool room. The decor may be a little dated, but it was fine with us. The hotel does provide smaller renovated rooms.
The price of our rooms was around $200 per night. It was not the cheapest, but it was affordable compared to getting 2 separate rooms for the 4 of us.
