No heatwave in Singapore, but it sure feels like one.
Singapore's Temperature hovers around 32 degree on 2 May afternoon.
A quick check at some apps shows that it feels like 39 degrees in some parts of Singapore. This is largely due to the high humidity in Singapore.
The average temperature felt like 37 degrees in Singapore, while in some areas like Bukit Merah, it felt like a whopping 39 degrees.
Malaysia has recently decreed that if the average daily maximum temperature exceeds 37 deg C for three consecutive days, it is a heatwave. We are not there yet, but it sure feels like one.
