SEA Games : Singapore Medal Tally Day 7

Day 7 of SEA Games sees Singapore bringing 2 more Gold Medals.

With swimming out of the way, medals will not be as free-flowing as in previous days. The biggest winner for yesterday will be sprint queen Shanti with her 100m victory.

Shanti turns on the turbo booster with a decisive 11.41 sec win, adding to her 200m gold. She did not get the best start, but she was leading the pack midway through the race. An amazing performance.

Maxine Wong won the gold in fencing in a way not many would have wanted. Her opponent had to forfeit due to injury, and Wong won through a walkover.
