National Day 2023 is just around the corner.
While getting the actual day tickets to watch the parade is challenging, that
does not mean you have to stay at home and watch the parade on the telly.
There will be activities around the island that you can enjoy.
1 Singapore Heartland Festival
5 & 6 August , Various Timing
A series of National Day celebrations over the weekend of 5 and 6 Aug. There
will be community activities such as sports try out and giant kampung games.
The GetActive! Singapore Heartland Festivals will be held at the following
sites, and admission will require tickets:

Singaporean citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible to apply
for e-tickets to attend the GetActive! Singapore Heartland Festivals. Limited
physical tickets will also be available for collection at various SAFRA clubs.

2 Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert
5 August, 430pm-9pm
The fifth edition of Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert is
back in full scale. There will be carnival activities, performances as well as
fireworks during the concert. Kit Chan will be serenading the audience with an
update of the classic "Home"
Admission is free.
3 Heartland Fireworks Locations
9 August, Various Time
On National Day, concurrent with the fireworks medley at Padang,
Fireworks will also set off at the same time at these 5 heartland sites.

Our Tampines Hub Entry into the stadiums starts from 6 pm onwards, on a
first-come, first-served basis.
4 Flypast on National Day
Flypast starts from 540pm and ends at 630pm
Before the parade at the Padang, a special segment called "Fly Our Flag"
will feature two CH-47SD Chinook helicopters accompanied by two AH-64D
Apache helicopters proudly carrying and displaying the State Flag across
Singapore, while the RSAF55 Island Flypast (RIF) will have an A330
Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft and six F-16D and three
F-15SG fighter aircraft performing a synchronized flypast near the five
Heartland sites.
5 Majulah Fiesta 2023
29 July - 9 August
12 days of energetic workouts, thrilling tryouts, fancy footwork and
friendly games. There will be Kpox@Fitness, Piloxing, Les Mills
Bodycombat, Les mills, Bodyattach, Zumba, Fit Blast, Cardio Ricks, MMA
Workout with one champion ship and even a great Singapore workout and
dance!
6 Live NDP Screening and Fireworks
9 Aug Singapore Sports Hub, 9am-9pm
Pack a picnic and head over to Singapore Sports Hub to catch Live NDP
telecast. Fireworks will be along the Stadium Riverside walk.
7 National Day Facade Light Up
Daily 21 July to 9 August, 730pm -12 midnight
The National Museum building will come alive with a special facade light-up. This year's light up will feature snippets of the commissioned short film investing visitors to reflect on the life and values of Mr Lee Kwan Yew.
8 National Day Celebrations at National Museum.
21 Jul - 10 Aug
A myriad of activities, From workshops to scavenger hunts to outdoor performances to Live telecasts of National Day Parde at the front lawn, there is something for everyone to do on National Day.
9 Happy Birthday Singapore
City Square Mall
Celebrate Singapore's birthday with Makan!
There will be Singapura Food Diar, White Rabbit Pop-Up Booth, Creative
Playground Lux Eterna and a travelling exhibition at the Mall.
