Cold Storage Opens at Joo Chiat Road

 Cold Storage opens its door at Joo Chiat.

This is at JK Building at the intersection of Joo Chiat Road and Koon Seng Road, opposite the popular colourful Peranakan Houses along Koon Seng Road. 

It took over Giant that used to occupy this space. In terms of layout, it's a cleaner appearance with clearly divided sections. In terms of items available, it looks more upmarket than its predecessor.

Price-wise, the items are also a tad more expensive than other supermarkets. However, compared to the competition, Little Farms on the same street is a more affordable alternative. 

They could add a deli or a bread section, which is lacking on this side of the street. Nonetheless, If the residents in the area are looking for a quick dash to the supermarket, at least they have a decent option here.
