Tok Panjang: A Communal Dining Experience
Friday 15 March, Saturday 16 March, Sunday 31 March
6-9pm, Ixora Room, Level 1

Tok Panjang, or Long Table Dining, is a unique Peranakan experience.  This lavish celebratory feast is the cornerstone of major Peranakan occasions and is now recreated for you to experience at Peranakan Museums.

This ticketed programme will feature a curated halal-friendly menu that brings together the cuisine of various Peranakan communities.

We tasted this experience and had the best fusion Peranakan food we had eaten in Singapore. From the tender Kuah Bamiah (Lamb Stew with ladies' fingers) to the fragrant Nasi Ulam (Rainbow herb rice), every bite leaves an unforgettable sensation on the palate.

Dinner is served with antique tableware, kitchen accessories, and Peranakan dance and music performances. The veteran performer and Steward of ICH recipient Baba GT Lye will host it. The dinner is supported by Allspice Institute.
