COE 1st Bid March 2024 Results

COE is mixed for the 1st bid of March

CAT A increases by $6199 to $83,000 while CAT B falls by $990 to $96,010

Regarding the number of bids, the ratio was close to 1.9 for CAT A and 1.5 for CAT B. The demand has been fairly consistent since the Jan lows.

Interestingly, it was reported yesterday that Singapore might have a one-off rise in vehicle population with higher usage-based charges. If this was to happen, COE will likely drop when it is official.
