Changi Airport has been developing its terminals through the years and, over the last 12 months, has opened a new terminal known as the Jewel. Visitors can use suspended walkways to navigate their way through boutiques and shops, mixing nature, retail, and fun all in one space.

A Million Times at Changi is a kinetic art installation at T2. A mural depicting Singapore's hawker past adorns the underpass of T4's Departure and Arrival hall, while wire-formed birds hover over T4's Departure and Arrival hall. Rooftop Pool

The rooftop of T1 at Changi has a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Although it's not entirely free, for $23, you can stretch out by the pool and use the shower facilities, which to us is a pretty good deal. Poolside, there's also a 24-hour bar, so if you want a holiday before you go on holiday, this is the only place you need to be before your plane sets off. Remember to pack some extra clothes and your swimming shorts in your carry-on luggage before you indulge in one of the best rooftop pools.

Wall Climbing

Changi Airport is already known for its many attractions, but what keeps this airport continuously achieving such a high status is the additions it keeps making. The latest attraction to grace Changi is a new bouldering and rock climbing facility in basement 3 of Terminal 3. Here is where children and adults alike can scale some of the best walls in the world.

The main attraction of Climb@T3 is the 8-meter High Wall. Here, you can hook yourself up to the auto-belay system and challenge yourself to any of the 20 climbing routes. If the ropes are more your thing, make your way to the 12-metre-long and 2.5-metre-high Boulder Wall, the ideal spot for beginners and kids looking to practice and build their confidence before trying the High Wall.
