Mark your calendars; The Mongol Khan, the epic theatrical spectacle based on different historical events that took place in Central Asia 3000 years ago, will make its Asia Premiere in Singapore at Sands Theatre.
Bought to you by Base Entertainment Asia, this is the first time a Mongolian theatrical production will take the stage in Singapore. With an ensemble of over 70 actors, dancers and musicians, this multi-sensory feast will be brought to life through a haunting original score, dramatic storytelling, dance and puppetry that will guarantee to be a first for most audiences.
This will be a gripping tale inspired by the evolution of Mongolian culture. It has the ingredients of a classic tragedy: Jealousy, Mistaken Identity, Adultery, Rivalry, Sacrifice, Succession, and Power Struggle.
The story culminates in an epic battle for the future of the Hunnic Empire.

The Mongol Khan was originally written in 1998 by renowned Mongolian writer and poet Lkhagvasuren Bavu and revived in April 2022. Produced by Bayra Bela(Amazon's The Power and Netflix's Marco Polo) and directed by venerated Mongolian Directo Hero Baater, this production promises to be a memorable event.
