Stepping into Bites & Brews, you'll instantly feel the good vibes that this café exudes. 

Away from the main street of Joo Chiat, this laid-back spot is hidden in the middle of the residential area of Crane Road. 

It is adorned with country-style decor with exposed bricks and hints of Peranakan influence to pay homage to its location. 

Featuring intricate tiles with flower motifs and rustic furniture that invites you to stay a little longer. This is a pet-friendly cafe where dogs and cats are allowed to laze outdoors with ample outdoor seating.

The menu offers an enticing take on brunch staples with a delightful fusion twist

Phully Cheesesteak

 A mouthwatering delight, this sandwich features caramelised onions, mozzarella, and tender grilled beef tucked between slices of sourdough. The flavours blend well, though a heartier portion would be welcomed!

Fried Chicken Waffles

 This dish has generous chunks of crispy, succulent fried chicken sitting atop fried eggs on fluffy waffle. This is a satisfying crunch paired with a sweet, savoury contrast.

Jian Bing Breakfast Burrito

A unique fusion creation, this burrito is packed with beef brisket, a fluffy spring onion omelette, fresh coriander, and a kick of spicy mayo, all wrapped in a tortilla filled with mixed greens. It’s an inventive marriage of Eastern and Western flavours that works surprisingly well.

Overall, Bites & Brews is an idyllic spot where you can escape the hustle and bustle of Joo Chiat and still feel the laid-back vibe. 

While the Brunch menu is interesting, there isn’t a specific food catered for pets. Having one would have made it even more inclusive for dog owners. Some dishes can lean towards the higher side of brunch pricing, but the experience somewhat justifies it.
