Spider-Man is back in MCU - Sony and Disney decided to Snap and bring it back to life!

He's back!



A month ago we reported that Spidey will be leaving the Marvel Universe.  Today, Spiderman is back to MCU when Sony and Disney decided to put their difference aside and work together. This is probably one of the biggest hype in Singapore and would surely make the next Marvel Spiderman Movie a hit with fans.



The new deal will mean that the web-slinging hero will continue his journey in MCU. There will be one more Spidey movie together to complete the trilogy in the MCU. With the cliff hanger post-credit scene in Spider-Man: Far from Home where his identity was revealed, fans will get a chance to get closure on what happens next.

In addition, as part of the deal, Spider-Man will also appear in another MCU movie, but the specific details are not confirmed. Will we finally get to see Spider-Man and Deadpool in one movie?

I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it. Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold

The interesting bit is the line 'He also happens to be the only hero with superpower to cross cinematic universes.' Does this mean that Spider-Man will appear in the Spiderverse in Sony's world as well? Will we also get to see a Spider-Man vs Venom vs Carnage in the future?

The next Spider-Man movie- the third in Sony's homecoming trilogy - will be released on July 16 2021.
