Cats is coming to Singapore!

The Cat is out of the bag

Cats The Musical would be coming to Singapore for a limited season from Dec 17 to 5 December. Unlike other musicals, this one is unique in terms of settings and characters.

Based on T.S Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, the show will transform Marina Bay Sands Theatre into a larger than life Junkyard Playground filled will feline characters that include Rum Rum Tugger, Mr Mistoffeless, Macavity, Jennyany dots, Old Deuteronomy, Grizabella and Skimbleshanks. If the wacky names do not catch your attention, the sight of a clowder of cats dancing and prancing on stage will keep you entertained

Here are 3 reasons why you should catch the show

It's a production like no other

First, the story takes place over the course of one night as opposed to days and weeks in a traditional musical. Secondly, it is all about Cats with no humans in sight. You might have seen plenty of musicals but we guaranteed that there will be none like Cats.

Award-Winning Musical

This 2 hours long musical was the winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical. It had run for over 21 years in West End and 18 years on Boardway. With the magnificent musical score composed by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber (The Phantom of the Opera, Evita), you could expect a score that would be spellbinding.
