Good Morning.
25K mark has been breached on Day 38 of Circuit Breaker. If you told us this number in Apr, we would probably brush it off as impossible. At 25K, we have almost the combine number of Japan and Korea.
Give the Population of both at 170m vs Singapore 5m, we have one of the highest cases/million population globally. Interestingly, we also have one of the lowest death/million. Our death/million are lower than in Japan and Korea despite similar numbers.
1) 675 New Cases , 958 discharged
Work Permit Cases - 671
Community Cases -4 ( 2SC/PR/WP)
Today marks several key milestones
-Number of discharged is the highest till date
-Discharged is significantly larger than new cases
-No Work Permit Holders cases outside Dorms
