Daily Dose Jun 23 : Fight Club

The first full week of Phase 2 kicked off with a relatively muted start.

Despite crowds at certain places, most of them were orderly save for fights at Holland Village and  Bukit Batok over the weekend. Is the Fight Club the new trend in Singapore.

1) 218 New Cases in community
217 Dorms
1 Community (Work Permit)

The numbers had fallen to a range of 150-300 on a daily basis. That is good news, especially for the dorms. Looking forward to the numbers dropping below 100.

Unfortunately, another cluster is uncovered at the dorms with 8 new cases linked to it.

2) Supermarkets in Jalan Kayu, Jurong West, Serangoon North among places visited by Covid19 patients while infectious

Sheng Siong supermarket at 7 Jurong West Avenue 5 on June 9 between 7.50am and 8.20am

NTUC FairPrice supermarket at 447A Jalan Kayu on June 15 between 6.25pm and 8.55pm

Sheng Siong supermarket at 19 Serangoon North Avenue 5 on June 19 between 5.15pm and 6.05pm

The bad news is that more supermarkets are added to the list. The good news is that up till now, there are no confirmed cases reported out of any of the locations listed so far. Transition transmission was never deemed as a major channel for the virus to spread.

3) 2 Sporean arrested fo late-night fight in Lorong Mambong

They were part of the infamous Holland V crowd on first night of Phase 2.

4) 3 arrested after fights breaks out at Bukit Batok
