Le Meriden to close from 1 Nov

 

Le Meriden will only be operational for a few more hours.

From tonight, 31st October, 23:59, Le Meriden Singapore, Sentosa will cease operations and no longer be affiliated with Marriott International. 

This is base on an announcement by Le Meriden Singapore, Sentosa on the Facebook.

This news came a day after Robinson announced their departure from our shore. This was surprising as the announcement was as sudden as Robinson's departure. Given that Le Meriden Sentosa had been approved as a staycation hotel, we did not expect this since year-end holidays is just around the corner.

Le Meriden Sentosa is well known as the hotel next to Sentosa Merlion. With the Merlion decommissioned, it is sad to see another iconic hotel disappear from Sentosa. We had stayed there before for staycation, and it will be sad to see it go.
