National Day Activities for Famlies 2022

National Day is just a few days away.

There are activities lined up for families over the National Day weekend and National Day itself. Dress in Red and White and celebrate with the nation with these activities!

National Day @ Heartlands Carnivals

• Central Singapore: Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Ficus Green (6 Aug 2022, 4pm – 9pm)
• North East: Punggol Open Field beside Waterway Point (6 Aug 2022, 4pm– 9pm)
• North West: Open Space next to Sembawang MRT Station (6 Aug 2022, 4pm– 9pm)
• South West: Open Field next to Buona Vista MRT Station (6 Aug 2022, 4pm– 9pm)
• South East: Wisma Geylang Serai (7 Aug 2022, 4pm– 9pm)

Pre National day celebrations will be held in the heartlands. 

Enjoy various live performances, activities such as Bubble Football, Light Saber Activity, interactive exhibitions and carnival games at the various locations. More details can be found here.

Red Lions at Heartlands
Date: 7 August 2022

The Red Lions are back at the heartlands. This year, they will be jumping from 2 sites Bishan and Ghim Moh. If you are living in the vicinity, you are in for a treat!

Fireworks@Heartlands

Since Covid era, NDP was bought to the heartlands. It will continue  with 5 locations around Singapore

No ticket to the parade? 

You can enjoy a live telecast of NDP under the museum's iconic Banyan Tree with family and friends. Bring your own picnic mats and basket!

Celebrate the nation's 57th birthday at the Sportshub with fiesta activities. 

Watch Live NDP telecastt, join the Amazing Sport Heritage 5+7 Challenge, do a Sports Hub Workout Lah or play fun and interactive family games.

National Day Lightup
Date: 1 Aug to 27 August
Time 730pm to 12am daily

Locations:  Brash Basah and Bugis Precinct

Six historical and cultural landmarks will be lit in the National colours of Red and White.

They are as follows

• National Museum of Singapore
• Cathedral of the Good Shepherd
• Central Fire Station
• The Cathay
• National Design Centre
• Stamford Arts Centre

National Day Scavenger Hunt @ NMS
Date: 9 August 
Time : 10am-530pm , Free 

Search for little-known aspects of Singapore in the museum's galleries and redeem a National Day souvenir up completion of the event
