Stranger Things has arrived in Singapore, turning this city upside down.
If you have not heard or seen Stranger Things, you probably live under a rock or in another dimension. This horror drama series has attracted millions of fans worldwide. Having 4 seasons under its belt, the following season looks set to drop in 2025.
In the meantime, fans can fill the gap with Stranger Things-The Encounter in Singapore. Located at Bugis + and running from now till 1st October, you can now relive the journey with Mike, Will, Eleven and the rest of the crew and escape from the Upside Down world in this immersive experience.
What to Expect at Stranger Things - The Encounter
There are six Zones to Explore at Stranger Things. You have an hour to complete the task.

1 Palace Arcade
|
This is where your journey starts. Located on the 2nd floor, exchange your tickets for Powerbands that will gain you access to the main exhibition on the 7th floor.
|
These Powerbands will come in handy for you to collect FRGMNTS hidden throughout the zones and will grant you perks that will be revealed at the end of the post.
|
Go crazy with the 80s-inspired Stranger Things merchandise.
|
Get Shirts and unique Stranger Things memorabilia for yourself or for someone who is a fan.

2 Hellfire Club
|
Head up to the 7th floor, and your journey begins. 2 zones are off-limits to photography and videos. Hellfire Club is one of them. We don't want to ruin any surprise, but if you are a Dungeons and Dragons fan, you love this room. Here you will play an interactive Dungeons and Dragons game around a long table filled with props.
Your roll of the dice will result in a quick-witted narrative from the Dungeon Master, followed by special effects. Just don't roll the wrong number and end up battling demogorgons as a result.
3 Joyce's House

The most iconic scene in Season 1 is at Joyce's house.
|
This room is a replica of the scene. Experience how Will communicate with his Mother through Christmas lights here.
|
We love how realistic this room is. There are so many easter eggs for one to discover.
|
On that note, remember to pick up the Quest list and make your experience more vivid by completing the tasks on hand.

4 The Lab
|
The Lab has been an important scene incurring seasons of Stranger Things.
|
Here you get to play a game, and success will help you close the rift. Failure will allow the demogorgons to pass from Upside Down and terrorise Hawkins.
|
Next to the room is the CCTV control centre. Use the controls to switch through the recordings, and you can see snippets of the show from Netflix!
|
5 Upside Down
|
The Upside Down is another dimension in Stranger Things; no visit to Hawkins would be complete without entering the Upside Down.
|
Get face-to-face with a full-size Demogorgon and get ready to battle.
6 Creel House
This house is Vecna's main base of operation. This is the showdown you have been waiting for.
|
It's a tad intense, so prepare for an encounter like no other. No photos are allowed, but standby your powerband as it will be needed for this final battle.

Other than taking those memorable shots at iconic locations for Instagram, there is still plenty to do.

This area has exclusive Stranger Things Merchandise that is not available at Palace Aracade.

Other than taking those Instagramable photos, remember to collect your FRGMENTS.

Your Ticket to Stranger Things - The Encounter
You do not have to watch Stranger Things to see this exhibition, but it would make this experience a thousand times better if you at least catch one season. Trust us; once you have seen it, you will be hooked!

Entry starts from $39 for regular entry. For true fans, you should get the VIP pass from $109 that includes $80 worth of Stranger Things Cap + Tee. VIP pass also gets priority event access. Entry is by fixed date and timing for this event. Prices are a little pricey, but if you are a fan, you should visit... because FRIENDS DON'T LIE!
