Adapted from the beloved Roald Dahl novel, "Matilda" recounts the story of an astute 5-year-old girl who finds joy in reading and gaining knowledge. Neglected by her television-absorbed parents, she embarks on her school journey.

However, her formidable Headteacher, the imposing Miss Trunchbull, proves to be a tyrant. Yet, armed with her vibrant imagination and keen intellect, along with the connections she forms with the Librarian, Mrs. Phelps and her class teacher Miss Honey, she bravely alters her own fate.

When we last watched Matilda The Musical back in 2019, it was by far the best musical in town for the young and young at heart. We remember the eye-catching stage, the powerful songs and the strong cast that took our breath away. The winner of 101 International Awards, including 24 for Best Musical, will be back at Marina Bay Sands from 9 March.
