3D 2N Shopping Trip in Bangkok : 10 Shopping locations for you to shop till you drop!
Bangkok is a shopping paradise for bargain hunters.
If you are looking for affordable, high-quality shops for women, men, or children, Bangkok is the place to go. While there are attractions to visit and restaurants to sample in Bangkok, one of the main draws of Bangkok will be shopping.
We are not talking about shopping for branded goods. The reality is that these goods' prices may be higher than where you come from. Instead, if you want to revamp your wardrobe on a budget, there is no better place to be. For this Shopping Escapade, we will focus on areas where you can find clothes for as low as 80 baht. Here is a 3D 2N shopping itinerary that will make you shop till you drop!
Day 1
1 The Platinum Fashion Mall
Location: 222 Phetchaburi Rd, Thanon Phaya Thai, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400,
Thailand

The Platinum Fashion Mall is a must-go mall for bargain hunters. It has six floors and sells clothes for women, men, and children under one roof.
Many shops have similar clothes, but you can also source for original brands. There are specialised shops for replica luxury hunters, too.
If you are looking for kids' clothes, half a floor at the Platinum Fashion Mall is dedicated to them.
See which children's brands you should check out at Platinum Fashion Mall.
2 December
Location: Grand Diamond Plaza, Pratu Nam
Nearest MRT/BTS: Ratchaprapop (MRT)
This is an all women's fashion mall. The unique thing about it is the number of live streamers there. Livereamers selling clothes from Bangkok have likely obtained the goods here.
The mall has an open-concept layout on every floor. There are no individual shops, but the stalls are sectioned by different owners. Live streamers can liaise with the owners when orders are made.
3 Central World
Location: 999/9
Rama I Rd, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
Nearest MRT / BTS: ChitLom
(BTS)
Central World is a mega shopping complex in Bangkok that features international brands like Zara, Uniqlo and their own Central Department Store. There are also international restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, Shake Shack and more. This mall is best for those looking for a good mix of global brands.
4 Big C Supercenter Ratchadarmi
Location: 97/11 Ratchadamri Rd, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok
10330, Thailand

Big C Ratcharmi is the place to go for your Thai snacks. Even if the snacks could be found online, the prices here are around 50% off. Worth a visit to stock up.
Day 2

Bangkok 10400, Thailand
Nearest MRT / BTS: Ratchaprarop (MRT)
Wake up early and head to Pratunam Morning Market. It is already busy at 7am.
If The Platinum Fashion Mall prices are reasonable, wait until you check out the prices here. If you buy in bulk, you could get 30-50% off.
6 Chatuchak Weekend Market
Location: 587, 10 Kamphaeng Phet 2 Rd, Khwaeng Chatuchak,
Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900, Thailand
Nearest MRT/BTS: Mo Chit (BTS)
Chatuchak may be a weekend market, but it also opens during weekdays. However, the number of weekday shops is significantly lower than on weekends.

Come here if you want to shop in Peace. It is just a BTS stop away from Chatuchak, which is accessible.
8 Jobbs Fair
Location:
Nearest MRT/BTS: Phra Ram 9 (MRT)
Jobs Fair is cleaner and more hip than Bangkok's traditional night markets. Things sold here are more upscale but affordable.
It is also a great place to savour some Thai food.
Day 3
9 MBK
Location: 444 Phaya Thai Rd, Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330,
Thailand
Nearest MRT / BTS: National Stadium (BTS)
MBK is a replica haven. Sure, there are other things to shop here, too, but this place is best known for its replica luxury goods. Remember to bargain if you are planning to get anything here.
10 Siam Center
Location: 979
Rama I Rd, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
Nearest MRT / BTS: Siam
(BTS)
If you are planning to check out local and international designers, a good place to find them is Siam Center. Popular local brands such as Greyhound can be found here. This is also Bangkok's 1st shopping centre and has been a trend-setting mall for over 4 decades!
There is also a Gundam Store for those who want to pick up a figurine.
Tips: Places to Avoid
Siam Paragon and Icon Siam
If you are not into luxury goods, there might be better places to pick up the worth Bangkok finds. However, if you want an experience, it is good to head there to enjoy the aircon and the views.
Asiatique
This place is an overpriced night market. Most of the stuff is cheaper in Chatuchuk.
Traditional Night Markets
You can skip the rest if you have been to one traditional night market in Bangkok. They sell more touristy stuff, such as fake iPods, cheap slippers, Bangkok singlets, and even cannabis. At some stretches, we did feel a little unsafe. You can find more regular things in the malls.
Verdict
Bangkok is a great place to shop; it is also known for its food and massages, so remember to squeeze those in for your trip!
