PSLE Cut off Points for Secondary Schools 2024 : IP , Group 3, Group 2 , Group 1
The Official PSLE Cut-Off Point (COP) for 2024 admission is out.
For 2024 admission, there are new changes to the streaming system. There will no longer be Express, Normal Academic or Normal Technical streams. Instead, it will be replaced by Group 3, Group 2 and Group 1 respectively. This will impact most schools with the exception of the Integrated Programme and SAP schools.
The secondary classes will not be segregated into Groups for students enrolled in this new system. Instead, students will have a common class, but separated for different subjects according to ability. Students will also take a new national common exam in 2027 to replace GCE O and N levels.
Here are the PSLE COP for 2024.
IP
GROUP 3
The 2024 COP has seen more than 1/3 of schools with much lower COP. This reverse the increase in COP in 2023.A handful of schools have COP has reduced by 2 or more points. There is only 1 school with a higher COP. This means it is more important to have a strategy to choose a secondary school.
