🎉 Celebrate National Day – Museum-Style!
On 9 August, the museum transforms into a four-floor celebration of all things Singapore.
-
Basement – Dive into our maritime roots with hands-on activities exploring Singapore’s early days as a trading hub.
-
Level 1 – Celebrate what makes us uniquely Singaporean: Singlish, kopi, kaya toast, and all.
-
Levels 2 & 3 – Embark on a heritage hunt, try your hand at batik art, and revisit pivotal moments of our independence journey.
Wrap up the day with a picnic under the stars on the museum’s Front Lawn and catch the National Day Parade live from 5.30 PM onwards.
🎟️ Free Entry on 9 August!
Mark your calendars—admission is free for ALL Visitors on National Day. Don’t miss the chance to visit the brand-new Singapore Odyssea in the Shaw Foundation Glass Rotunda, reopening 8 August, or take a final walk through the Singapore History Gallery before it closes in November.
