Le Jardin at Fort Canning Park – A Colonial-Era Dining Escape
Ever wondered what it’s like to dine back in the colonial era?
That was exactly how we felt stepping into Le Jardin, a European-themed café nestled within Fort Canning Park.
Tucked away at the corner of Fort Canning Centre beside the Fort Canning Heritage Gallery, Le Jardin is well hidden from the usual park-goers. Step inside and you’ll be mesmerised by its floral displays and old-world charm.

The café has three distinct dining zones - an outdoor entrance foyer for al fresco dining, an indoor hall with decadent European décor, and a balcony that exudes colonial charm with its architecture and views.

This is not your typical Singapore restaurant ... it feels like a different world altogether.

We chose the outdoor section. Despite the midday heat, we were charmed by the setting, especially with a cosy corner nook that overlooked the sprawling Fort Canning Green.

Le Jardin feels like a place where romance blooms. With its
lush décor and timeless vibe, it’s the kind of venue that works perfectly
for a date or an anniversary celebration.
We liked its charm and its ability to transport us away from modern Singapore into a setting that feels almost frozen in time.
