December Holiday Activities in Singapore : 9 Things to Do!

The festive season is here!

We are heading to mid-December; you can feel the festive mood around town. Save for not having snow (we have tons of rain instead), the Christmas Lightsup and the numerous events popping up all over the island mean that one would have plenty of things to do this weekend.

If you are not travelling, here are 8 things you can do this weekend in Singapore!

1 Take a stroll down Orchard Road

Enjoy this Free Christmas Lightup and take as many photos as you like. The best spots will be at the traditional Tanglin Mall and the glitzy ION Orchard.

2 Indoor Mall Activities

Don't miss the Chanel Christmas Tree at Takashimaya if you are indoors.

Want more activities? 

Head to Plaza Singapura. This mall has not one but a host of activities from Kiztopia's Great Christmas Alley, a 14 m tall candy-themed inflatable playground, and a gigantic see-through dome filled with many rainbow balloons. It's a ticketed event, and you can get your tickets from Klook.

Otherwise, Rollermaina 3.0 will be a fun stop for young and old. Skate in the first retro skate rink and have a good time at Carnival and Arcade Games on site. Last but not least be enchanted by Disney Classic Fairy Tales installations. Hop on the Enchanted Express and go on a 3360 multi-sensory digital experience.

3 Have A Universal Christmas at USS

USS annual "A Universal Christmas" is back. See your favourite Dreamworks characters deck out in festive gear, and enjoy new Christmas Food, Snow and delicious Christmas Treats.

5 Ice Magic: Winter Wonderland

If you want to experience real snow, head to Ice Magic: Winter Wonderland. This is Asia's largest pop-up winter playground. It opens from Dec 9 to Jan 21 at Bayfront Event Space.

There will be snow slopes, dual lanes ice slides, majestic ice sculptures, an arcade and even food and beverage stalls,

6 Candy Carnival @ Changi Airport

7 Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay
