Check out our first-hand reviews of the places we stayed in Australia from Perth all the way to Sydney!
PERTH
Perth is our favourite holiday destination in Australia. It's a mere 4.5 hours flight away. You can explore the many caves and farmhouses along Margaret River and enjoy the slower pace of life in Perth.

The Peninsula Service Suite - Perth City
Normally, we would stay a day or two at Perth City before or after Margaret River. If you are staying at Perth City, The Peninsula Serviced Suites would make a good stop

SYDNEY
Our first destination to Australia was Sydney. Sydney is pretty comparable to Singapore. Its cityscape means good accessibility around the city. An added bonus is that you can head to the Blue Mountains for a breath of fresh air or Port Stephens for some whale watching. You are in the city but close to nature as well.

Sydney has plenty to offer for kids, here is a list of what they can do in the city
Meriton Suites World Tower
If we head to Sydney, this would be our go-to hotel. With its proximity to Sydney's attraction and the fantastic views from the room, it ranks high in both location and comfort.

Fairmont Resort Blue Mountain
If you are heading to Blue Mountain, we do suggest a stay there for a night or so. The Fairmont Resort is one of the bigger resort in Blue Mountain with a full suite of amenities. It even has an arcade center and playground for kids!

GOLD COAST
Gold Coast is known as Australia's playground. With its numerous themeparks, it is the favourite destination for families.
Don't forget to check out the top attractions in Gold Coast for kids
Meriton Broadbeach
The Meriton brand is our favourite brand of apartments in Australia. The rooms are usually spacious and well maintained. For the Gold Coast, they have an apartment located at Broadbeach which is near the casino.

MELBOURNE
Melbourne was nominated as the number 1 when we visited it. It has since dropped a few notches. Still, it is within the top 3. Given the accolade, it is hardly surprising to see visitors flocking to see what the fuss is about.

Adina Apartment Flinders Street
We chose this apartment because it is right on Flinders Street. Staying at Flinders Street means you have access to the bus and train network which brings you to Melbourne Attractions easily.
